The Flint Hills Festival of Wines is the largest annual fundraising event for the Good Shepherd Foundation for over 20 years.

The 2024 Festival events will include:

  • Wine Dinner & Live Auction – Saturday, August 24, at 6:00PM at the K-State Alumni Center
  • Online Silent Auction – the auction will go live on Monday, August 19th and will be open for bidding all week long!

As the community’s only non-profit provider, each Festival event raises invaluable funds needed to ensure Good Shepherd’s proud tradition of providing services to all, regardless of ability to pay.

The featured artwork for the Flint Hills Festival of Wines was created at the very first Festival in 1999. Since then, Art Craft Printers create a new look for each year’s Festival that serves as the theme for that year’s event.

The Flint Hills Festival of Wines is possible only because of our partnership with Standard Beverage Corporation.

SBC is the corporate underwriter for several different wine festivals across Kansas. Salute! A Festival of Wine and Food to benefit Cottonwood in Lawrence and the TECH Uncorked Walkabout in Hutchinson.

After 22 years total net dollars for the charities benefiting from SBC’s public tasting events now stands at over $9 million. While benefiting the charities has been SBC’s primary goal, they also use these public events as a platform in which to share responsible consumption information and remains committee to their success.
