Good Shepherd Homecare & Hospice’s Light of Life memorial gives individuals a unique opportunity to honor their loved ones during the holiday season.

Anyone interested in honoring the memory of a loved one can purchase an ornament in honor of that person. The memorial ornaments can be purchased for any family member or friend, they are not only for individuals care for by Good Shepherd Homecare & Hospice. Ornaments can be purchased by clicking below.

The ornament will then be placed with loving care onto the Light of Life trees, located at the Manhattan Town Center Mall, where they will shine throughout the holiday season.

The Light of Life memorial is a truly special tribute to the memory of our loved ones, and we would be honored to share this opportunity with you.

There is no better time than the holiday season to remember the ones we love.

Please join us on Thursday, December 5, 2024 at 6:00 p.m. directly inside the theater entrance to the Manhattan Town Center for the Light of Life Tree Dedication ceremony.

The ceremony serves an evening of remembrance at which all memorial names will be read, and the memorial ornaments will be lovingly hung. The dedication will also be live-streamed on our Facebook page for those who would prefer to participate from home.

The dedication ceremony is a brief, but meaningful start to the holiday season. The schedule for the evening is as follows:

Welcome: Jeff Wick, Chair, Good Shepherd Foundation Board of Trustees

Invocation and Tree Dedication: Kelly Pittman, Hospice Chaplain

Reading of the Memorial Names: Members of the Board of Trustees

Ornaments may be purchased throughout the month of December and are then yours to keep after the holiday season has ended. You may pick them up at Good Shepherd Homecare & Hospice located at 3801 Vanesta Drive, any time after the first of the year.
