Home Care

Through our Home Care service, we work with individuals to keep them living comfortably and independently in their own homes, enhancing their quality of life without the stress of interrupted routines and changes in daily habits.

Home Care services also provide companionship which is as important as health care when it enables people to remain independent and in their homes. Services are provided by trained individuals, who are bonded, insured, covered by worker’s compensation and have successfully passed a complete criminal background check.

Home Care services can be arranged to meet individuals’ needs. Our staff provides these helpful and necessary services that reduce the difficult, time consuming and often stressful aspects of family caregiving:

Bathing
Dressing
Meal Preparation
Shopping
Light Housekeeping
Medication Reminders

Home Care services are available each day of the week, on the weekends morning and late evening hours. Home Care services are paid on a sliding fee scale, by long-term care insurance, Medicaid or by grants to those who are eligible. Grants for the Home Care program are made possible by the support of the Riley County Council on Aging and the Social Services Advisory Board through the City of Manhattan.
